This is Dr. Kiouses’ 21st year in education. She is excited to be an educator at Gorman School, because she wants to work in her community. Dr. Kiouses has an BA in Liberal Studies, from CSU, Bakersfield; a MAEd, from University of LaVerne; and earned her EdD in Organizational Management from Fresno State, in 2014. Dr. Kiouses has a clear multiple subject credential with an emphasis in both mathematics and English. She holds a clear administrative credential. She also has earned her GATE certification through USC.
Dr. Kiouses has taught multiple grades, including intervention and GATE. She is interested in student improvement and supporting students in gaining knowledge. Dr. Kiouses has been a teacher, an administrator, and an educational coach.
Dr. Kiouses and her husband have four grown children, four grandchildren and many animals. They also enjoy hiking and kayaking together. Dr. Kiouses also has recently started taking horse riding lessons and love riding in her spare time. Finally, Dr. Kiouses has loved reading, since she first learned and loves to share books with her students.
